Technical Skills - Beyond Scheduling. Managing Risks and Monitoring the Schedule
In this session, we will do a brief review of time management and schedule development techniques. We will then learn how to monitor and control the schedule, proactively identifying potential issues to reduce schedule risk. We will then learn how to schedule risk management activities (along with which risks to schedule). Finally, we will go over critical chain analysis and scheduling risk buffers to identify, report on, and manage risks to the project schedule.
In addition, learn how to identify risks from the Work Breakdown Structure and create a plan to manage them should they occur. It is more effective and efficient to determine what to do if something happens ahead of time rather than scramble around under pressure.
