Stakeholder Communications and Management
The presentation that will share John's experiences in dealing with various stakeholders during the projects he managed. The discussion will be based upon the PMBOK Chapters 4, 10, and 13 and explore interactions with Stakeholder during the initiating, planning, executing, and monitoring and controlling phases of a project. Discussion will encompass; developing the Project Charter and identifying stakeholders during project initiation. This will be followed by a discussion concerning the communications plan and its relationship to the Stakeholder Management Plan, followed by managing and monitoring stakeholder engagement.
About the Speaker
John M. Dennett, Sr., MBA, MSc, PMP
John M. Dennett, Sr. is a former senior Naval Officer, is a manager and logistics engineer with over 30 years of progressive responsibility and experience in the commercial and government sectors of increasing management responsibility in the systems engineering, life-cycle support, contracts, and business administration, is certified in PMP, ITIL, and Six-Sigma Green Belt. He is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), the Society of Logistics Engineers (SOLE, life member), the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) He is currently employed SJ Technologies as a Program Manager, and Troy University as Adjunct Faculty facilitating the PMP Certification Course.
