Chapter Volunteers Needed

As your PMI Columbus, GA Chapter celebrates our 30th anniversary this year, we are growing and need to expand our volunteer team. We’re inviting professionals who want to contribute to a thriving project management community to join us as a chapter volunteer.  Whether you are interested in communications, event planning, IT, social impact, or leadership development, we have meaningful opportunities that fit short-term, long-term, or even temporary time commitments.

Here are key areas of opportunity:
  • Chapter support (immediate need):
    • Chapter Marketing & Communications
    • Social Media content creation (IG, FB, LinkedIn)
    • Website Maintenance
    • Chapter event planning and facilitation
    • Chapter 30th Year Anniversary Celebration planning and execution
    • O365 administration
  • Open Volunteer roles (immediate need):
    • Military Outreach (US)
    • Chapter Rebranding Committee
    • 2027 Nominating & Elections Committee
  • Board Positions vacating at the end of 2026 (two-year term from 1/1/2027 through 12/31/2028)
    • Vice President of Governance
    • Assistant Vice President of Finance
